ASTM A299 GR.B Alloy Pressure vessel steel plate Descriptions:

ASTM A299 Grade B boiler steel plate with minimum yield strength above 325 Mpa,and tensile strength within 550-690 Mpa.Comparing with pressure vessel steel plate A299 Grade A,yield strength above 290 Mpa and tensile strength within 515-655 Mpa,pressure vessel steel plate SA299 Grade B owned a higher values.Additional technical requirements for boiler steel plates SA299 Grade B such as simulated post-weld heat treatment,low temperature impcting test,drop weight test and high temperature tension test.Ultrasonice test have to be done for SA299 Grade B boiler steel plate when rolling in our steel mill.
